No Cinnamon today Elbows only
Gee it's a bit frustrating looking for the Cinnamon orchid up Gidgi way - I last saw it several years ago - oh one can almost remember the smell. The only consolation is finding the curious Elbow orchid on the way home.

wanoscg welcomes the southern orchid group
A good group of members turned up at the DEC hall to celebrate the incorporation of the southern orchid group based in Albany on the 23 October. A few pics, a few speeches and a nice cake.
The group then headed off to look for orchids which were a little scarce because of the dry weather.

spiders are out at wireless hill, perth
The drndy weather may affect the profusion of orchids in perth but several species can be found in flower at wireless hill. The spider orchids are out in reasonable numbers and some arenicola hybrids can be found.
Fire has diminished caladenia orchids in some part of the reserve.
